Born and raised on the Georgia Coast where he is a St Simons and Sapelo Island Descendant, Environmental Justice Strategist, Community Activist/ Organizer, a Coastal Community Health Board Member & Representative, a Georgia Commissioner with the Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor, and original co-founder of the ‘I Run With Maud’ Movement that sought justice for the murder of his younger cousin Ahmaud Arbery.
